Why two different start dates?
The organizers realized that with so many boats of different speeds that some of the slower boats struggled to make it in time for the Awards Party - since offering two start dates (Friday and Saturday) the majority of the competitors have arrived in time to enjoy the festivities and share "war stories" with friends and family.

Why should I reserve dock space at Newport Yachting Center?
NYC has supported A2N since Race Headquarters was moved to their location in 2015.  Their location is perfect not only for competitors but for family members and friends who are in Newport awaiting their arrival.  

How can I get my cruising gear transported to Newport?

Fill out the form(s) above if you have crew gear to be taken to Newport or gear to be taken back to Annapolis. Must be received by May 26, 2021.

The race organizers are planning to provide a truck to transport cruising gear, of a reasonable size (e.g. cruising sails, awnings, biminis, small collapsible dinghies) to Newport. Your gear will need to be labeled carefully and please read the specifics on what CAN and CANNOT be transported on the truck.
